As one of the top 30 projects participating in the “IPIEC Global Top 30” tour, Amphasys was awarded with the “Project Excellence Award. The top 30 projects were selected in a competitive process from a total of 1285 projects from 10 different countries. We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this challenging competition and of course more than proud to have received this award.
Predicting seed yields under changing environmental conditions is a big challenge for seed producers. Sufficient pollination with good quality pollen is a key factor in achieving high seed yields. In his talk, Dr. Marcel Ottiger discusses how pollen quality monitoring, from pollen collection to storage and pollination facilitates more accurate predictions of the seed set.
